PICCA Transit is proposing a new, simplified fare structure for our in-county Demand Response service β designed to make transportation more affordable and easier to understand for everyone in Pickaway County.
ποΈ Effective August 18th 2025, pending public input.
π New Flat Fare Proposal (In-County Trips Only):
No matter the distance β just one simple rate!
Regular Fares
β’ Advance (β₯24 hrs): $1.00
β’ Same-Day: $3.00
π³ Discount Fares (50% Off):
Eligible riders pay:
β’ $0.50 for advance
β’ $1.50 for same-day
Applies to:
β’ Seniors (65+)
β’ People with disabilities
β’ Veterans
β
Flat rate β no more per-mile charges for in-county trips

Encourages advance booking while keeping same-day options affordable
