PICCA offers over 100 educational programs each year reaching 7,000 county students and residents. PICCA maintains six recycling sites, located in Ashville, Williamsport, New Holland, Tarlton, Circleville and Commercial Point, providing free recycling across the county. Fifteen road clean-ups were completed under the Adopt-A-Road Program. Additionally, under the Highway-Right-of-Way Program, court appointed juveniles clean approximately 100 miles of county roads. From PICCA’s efforts over 356,000 pounds of recyclables are kept from entering the county waste stream and over 9,800 pounds of trash are collected along county roads each year.
