EDUCATION & TRAINING PROGRAM
Serves to provide employment and training services to income-eligible individuals who are disengaged or dislocated from school or work. In addition to the academic and on the job training, participants have the opportunity to meet with a case manager on an individuals basis throughout the program. Staff seek to support participants in acquiring new skills needed to succeed in work, school and life.
WHEELS TO WORK PROGRAM
Provides qualifying low-income individuals an opportunity to save for the purchase of a vehicle through an IDA (Individual Development Account) enabling their employment and/or education attainment or retainment. The minimum savings requirement is $1,000 with a maximum match amount of $2,000.
