The Emergency
Services Department provides much needed assistance to families
and individuals in crisis. Through programs such as, the Transitional
Shelters and the Food Pantry, county residents are provided assistance
food and, when necessary, temporary shelter and supportive services.

The women’s transitional shelter houses up to 33 occupants.
The men’s transitional shelter houses up to 8.
- The Food Pantry provides food for those in need and some prescription assistance as funding is available.
